First Loved
Our capacity to love comes from the love we experience; the unconditional love of our Heavenly Father, and love from our family and friends. Orphans, who desperately need to be loved, instead experience soul-shattering loneliness, abandonment, and rejection.
This is intensely personal for me because I have actually met these kids. I have hugged them, played games with them, held back tears listening to their stories, and even wiped a few of their tears as they grow and their souls are healed and restored.
We have decided that we will not stand by any longer and do nothing for these precious orphans who need to know the love of their Father and of a family who cares. We will not let these children who are alone and desperate, through no fault of their own, perish or face life without anyone who cares. These are real kids with real dreams who are living a nightmare, not a childhood. Will you stand with us as we trust God to use us to restore the childhoods of these treasured children?
